Reviews and Ratings
The castle hotel offers luxurious rooms with a private sauna and breathtaking views, though the service can be inconsistent. The location within the castle is charming, but the dining experience may fall short in some aspects.
The hotel offers a lovely view of the autumn forest and a gigantic bathroom in rooms, but the service lacks personal responsibility when it comes to fixing issues. The location in an unspoilt castle adds to the charm, yet the dining experience may fall short with crispy bacon being underwhelming.
I stayed at Langley Castle and had a wonderful time. The rooms were cozy and clean, but unfortunately, mine didn't offer a view of the castle. However, the room in the castle with its sauna was a luxurious touch. The service was exceptional; the staff even heated up our dessert from a nearby restaurant! The location was stunning, though I was initially surprised to find out my room was in a stable block rather than the castle itself. The dining experience was a bit mixed, with some hiccups like the crispy bacon, but the traditional Irish pancakes were a delight. Overall, my stay was memorable with great facilities.
Wow, staying at the castle hotel was truly a unique experience! The rooms were spacious and luxurious, complete with a large bathroom and air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the hottest week of the year. The castle view from my room was absolutely stunning, and having my own sauna in the bathroom felt like pure indulgence. However, the conservatory was a bit chilly, and the restaurant's old-fashioned red walls were not to my taste.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were impressive with a gigantic bathroom and a stunning Castle view, while the disappointment of being in a converted stable block rather than the castle slightly overshadowed the location next to the castle. The service was warm and welcoming but lacked personal responsibility at times, and the dining experience had its flaws despite a positive note on the whole wheat bread rolls.
Staying in the castle was a unique experience with its own Sauna in the bathroom, but some cushions had torn covers. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond, although personal responsibility for fixing things seemed lacking. The location in the castle provided a lovely atmosphere, especially in the old-fashioned restaurant with red walls. However, the dining experience had some setbacks with returned hard crispy bacon.
